If you want to become an unified partner (participating in certain sports with our athletes) please let us know! You have to be 8 years old or older. No experience with the sport is needed. Practice 1x/week & commit to one weekend of games.
The mission of Cherokee County Special Olympics is to provide year-round training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
